$300 Down The Drain - Very Poor Quality Product

Upon receiving it - speakers were not working properly and wall mounts on back of TV were broken.
Explanation below.

Upon receiving this TV, I opened it up to set it up. I had the wall bracket mounted on the wall and ready to go.

The TV has four holes in the back for the mounting brackets. It's a very easy assembly. I got the four screws that the manual called for and screwed them into the back of the TV to hold the bracket.

On the inside of the back frame is the female end for the screw to go into. Each time I attempted to insert a screw, the female end (on the inside of the TV) broke off into the TV.

When I began to insert the screw it made a small popping sound. I assumed this was the sound of the screw slipping, I didn't think anything of it. Which is why i continued to try and insert all four screws. In the end, it turned out that sound was the female end snapping off.

While I waited to hear back from customer service, we decided to at least watch something on the TV. We plugged our DVD player and it turns out that the left speaker was completely shot. It made a LOUD buzzing sound on every setting. We had to put the volume entirely on the right speaker to get rid of it.

It took over 1 week of emailing and calling back and forth with customer service at Electronics Expo (the Amazon storefront I bought from) to get their final answer - they 'could not take it back' because I had damaged it.

Very poor quality product. If anyone does buy this I would not recommend mounting on the wall. If the TV broke so easily when trying to attach the wall mounts, I wouldn't be surprised if it were to break and fall off the wall.

You'll also have to factor in costs of external speaker b/c, obviously, if the speakers came this way upon delivery they are very low quality and at best will not last very long.

Clunky interface, slow warmup, slow control features make this overpriced in my opinion. Bought 2 on price...wish I'd done more research...would have preferred to spend $50 more for a good Korean etc brand. This is a huge Chinese brand but the user interfaces are just not up to a good enough standard.
